About Us

Y&R PR is born out of the iconic communications agency Y&R – and part of the renowned brand builder Cohn & Wolfe Group. We were founded in 2013 to bring unparalleled strategic thinking and flawless execution to a Fortune 50 company and its multiple brands around the world. Since then we have built much of our success on reinventing the traditional client-agency relationship.

For decades the public relations industry has been known for developing standardized models and proprietary tools to develop big ideas and bring them to the masses. At Y&R PR, we have reinvented the impact PR can have on our clients’ business. Our people are encouraged to think off the beaten path, yet always carry a GPS. While we still adhere to established strategic approaches, we pressure test the traditional tenets of PR campaigns to get the best results. Olga Fleming

CEO

IF ONE WERE TO DESCRIBE OLGA, IT WOULD BE NOTHING SHORT OF A MASTER ARCHITECT. Whether it’s building storylines, campaigns or teams, Olga has a vision that brings together details to ensure the whole is always larger than the sum of the parts. Olga has demonstrated this building an incredible agency run by passionate people with amazing and diverse talent – not to mention developing successful campaigns on behalf of several of the world’s leading companies and organizations. Olga holds a BA in economics and international relations from The American University in Washington, D.C. She is involved with several advocacy organizations, including The Children’s Health Fund and Opening Act.

Jeff Cammisa

EVP, Creative Strategist

IF JEFF WERE A BRAND, HIS TAGLINE MIGHT READ “THE REAL DEAL.” Mainly due to his genuine approach to work, which displays a deep understanding of people, product and market to address the causes and needs of distinct audiences. Jeff began his career as a copywriter on many blockbuster brands. He came into PR after serving as creative head at a larger WPP agency and honed his digital chops at Digitas Health helping to build out many of its communications offering. Jeff graduated from Boston College with a master’s degree in philosophy. Jeff has authored industry articles as well as served on creative award shows as a judge.

Courtney Walker

EVP, Deputy Director

COURTNEY HAS A CRAFT. It’s working with healthcare companies of all stripes: medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and healthcare technology – to dig in deeply and tell their stories with incredible depth and meaning. She helps lead the Y&R PR Health Practice to support many efforts in solidifying brand awareness and corporate partnerships. Prior to Y&R PR, Courtney worked at many of the larger PR firms collaborating closely with her clients to unearth and articulate their value propositions and disseminate their messages with a focus on social media. Courtney has a BA in English from The Ohio State University and an MA in Communications from the University of Portland (Oregon).

Jon Hendl

EVP, Client Services

JON IS REFERRED TO BY MANY THAT KNOW HIM AS A PLAYER/COACH. His unique ability to “walk a mile in someone else’s shoes” allows him to transform an audience perspective into strategies and campaigns that change behaviors. Clients trust Jon because he’s always listening and understanding how to implement strategies that balance the client’s objectives with audience needs. Jon has a proven track record of helping companies define their identity, capitalize on marketplace opportunities, motivate internal colleagues to action and change policy. Jon holds a BA in English/Professional Writing from Elizabethtown College. Not surprisingly, when Jon is away from the office he’s usually coaching one of his kids’ teams or attending one of their rock concerts.
